Joining I AM's Actors

Joining I AM's Actors is easy and we love to have new members. Even if you are not a performer we always welcome volunteers to run sound,  carry things, or even to just talk to people at venues.  We do have a few requirements:
  1. You must be a  believer in Christ.
  2. You must be an active member in a bible-believing church (Does not have to be Park Central or even a Baptist church)
  3. You must be at least 18 or have a parent or guardian who is joining the group as well.
  4. You must commit to being at practice and traveling with us to venues. (which means you'll probably need to live in or close to Dallas, TX)
  5. You must be able to walk or be on your feet for significant amounts of time.
As for one requirement that is notably absent: you are not required to have prior acting experience. We will teach you what you need to know! What you do need is a desire for ministry and perhaps a calling to our group. We will not make that a requirement, instead choosing to leave that between you and God.
 
So what's next?  You can contact us for more information, or you can just come to our practice. We meet every Sunday night at 5pm at Park Central Baptist Church.  We meet in the room above the choir loft behind the sanctuary stage. Enter the sanctuary main doors, go through the door on the left at the front of the santuary, walk all the way up the stairs and straight ahead into to the large room. You'll probably hear laughing, just follow that and you'll find us!
